Great friends, amazing wine, fantastic camping...weather to die for...could not have been better.  Gets better and better every year.  What a fun tradition.  Riding through vineyards, laughing with friends and riding our horses.

Reagan's new horse

We got Reagan a new horse. Letting go of our boy Payton was really tough, but he went to an amazing home where he is ridden all the time. He wasn't getting  as much use here because Reagan has out grown him.  So we got her a new gelding that fits her much better. She named him Alister.

He is nearly 16hh and still growing. It's time for a bee horse trailer!

She fits on him well. He's a cute registered Arab...seems to be all we ride around here. 😁

West Fork Teanaway Trip #2

There are so many things to explore here! Not enough time, and so we'll have to go back again, but most likely not this summer. I love God's creation and how our bible is relevant today! If we just look at His creation, we see His existence. Here, we can climb to the top of the mountain and we find sandstone rock every where,  caves shaped by water (did I mention at the TOP of the mountain?) Clearly this was all under water at one time. The result of a flood. Beach pebble solidified in some of the layers, just amazing!!!

Romans chapter 1 verse 20 says :
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."

By what has been made. Even though we can't see Him, because by seeing all His creation, we are without excuse it says, meaning you can not deny our Lord!

Driving to camp!
High lining in camp.  Leila likes to lay down.

Heidi relaxing in a hammock, waiting for the burgers to be done. It's hard work setting up camp!

Payton.  Isn't he cute??  Love our boy.

Leila, our first day ride at camp.  We were there 4 nights and 5 days.
Taking a break, taking our shoes off and putting our feet in the creek.  Great picnic spot.
 Riding out.

These cuties.  Precious kiddos.
A horse and his girl.
COWS!!!!   Free range cows!  We went through them!  My new Arab mare handled it like a champ!  She was a bit nervous, but kept her wits about her the entire time.  Now this....this is the makings of an Endurance horse!  We have a ride here in the PNW where you most likely will run into free range cattle.  We'll be ready for it!

This was the 2nd day of riding.  We rode up to Window Rock.

Pretty Cool, right???
See the 3 big rock pillars?  We call them the 3 trolls.
Swimming after a long ride in the heat, the water was amazing!

Cray fish.

Look what we found!  A Bull snake.  We'd usually see the tiny ones sunbathing themselves on the rocks by the river.

Hiking this day.  Our Payton had a gall sore, so we hiked where the horses couldn't ride and found where we could connect into other horse trails.

An amazing rock face to hike!  The views were AMAZING!
Our Fearless leader Gayle.  Probably one of the coolest ladies I know!

 Amazing adventures!

 Blue eyed beauty
 Amazing views!
 Cheese Rock

Just the best time ever!  Had a blast making memories with my girls and building a new endurance horse, I am cherishing all the time I have with my sweet girls!  We missed Todd on our trip, but he was  busy taking care of our family, being the bread winner and gone on a long business trip.  Hoping he can join us next time!

Renata's New Home, And A New Beginning

Renata's New Home

Isn't her home pretty??  She has a wonderful old gelding for a friend.  He'll be nicer than Payton who likes to leave bite marks occasionally.  She deserves this wonderful home and she is ridden often.

Last week, The girls and I took a camping trip up by Cle Elum.  Making memories with my girls, while building up my next endurance mare!  We had the best time.  Our fearless leader Gayle was with us, she knows all the amazing trails.  These particular trails lead up to some amazing caves, definitely worth going back and exploring around!

Reagan and Heidi out riding, Heidi is riding a sweet mule named Maimee and Reagan is on a Walker named Kola.

Gayle took us to a really cool cabin built in the late 1800s, it's dilapidated, but some of it in great condition. Pretty cool.

We stopped and ate lunch inside the cabin.  So fun.

After riding all day, we cooled off in the river.  Couldn't ask for better weather.

Leila did great on a high line!  On her way to becoming an awesome camping and endurance horse!
