Happy April 1st!

The weather was AMAZING yesterday!!!  Just when you think you can't handle Seattle rain, the sun comes out shining and then I remember why I love our area so much!!

With such nice weather, of course...I won't be inside.  So, of course  I was outside ALL DAY.  I had a lot of outside chores to get done, and my friend needed to borrow my horse trailer, and when she got back Reagan and I hit the trails!

Reagan found a pretty little moth the size of her thumb nail...

We love enjoying all of God's creation!

When we were galloping up a hill, Reagan's stirrup leathers broke and her stirrup came right off.
I had shoe string in my saddle packs and I was able to tie it back on.  Yay for weird and random stuff in saddle packs!

Everything was green and beautiful outside yesterday.

We also went through one our favorite ponds in Alpine.  I have it blogged in a video about this time last year.  The pond completely disappears in May, so if you only ride once a year, you'll never get to enjoy all the seasons and what they bring out in the woods of Alpine!  This year it was wider and deeper in the middle than I have ever seen it, but I have only been riding out here for about 5 years.

See the trail on the other side??  Gotta cross the pond to get over there!
