My dream is to do the Tevis Cup one day. Sometimes life gets in the way. So, in this blog you will be reading about my life, my family, of course...horses, endurance racing...(but in 2014 we are taking a break...) and everything in between. It's a journey!

Penny Auction
**Update on funds raised from the auction for the Voice of the Martyrs...Laura writes:
"$ 550.00 !!!! That is the final total with all donations counted. $ 300.00 from the children and the rest in other donations. Sending the money to Voice of the Martyrs. Thank you Thank you Thank you to all who participated and donated." **
Yesterday, my friend Laura raised well over $200 for the Voice of the Martyrs at her annual penny auction! The kids have so much fun because they get to give away a nice toy of their own to auction off and bid on a new toy. So fun and for an amazing cause...
Rebecca and Katie. Fellow homeschooling moms, and Rebecca is also our neighbor.
My dear friend Laura auctioning off a beautiful red dress.
Heidi with her auction paddle
Gabriel, he bought pretty smelling soap for his mom. Sweet boy!
What Heidi bought. I love Jesus, but this is ugly...IMHO.
What Reagan bid on and won. She loves animals.
Thank you Laura for putting this on. The food afterwards was amazing and the penny auction was so much fun. I couldn't be happier for the cause also. Loves and hugs.

ReplyDeleteOh and btw it wasn't me who raised the money...it was the kids and their parents!
ReplyDeleteOh and for all the readers *UPDATE* it was over $300!!! Praise the Lord! And Miss Laura...if you hadn't had the auction, none of it would be raised in the first place. Thank you for your obedience to the Lord's work. You are an example to us all. *hugs* Love you friend.
