Well, we have been busy...and I have been running until late into the evening and so I didn't feel like blogging, but now I have a bit of time and I will try to squeeze in what has been happening in our week...
On Wednesday, my friends Colleen and Gayle went for a ride into Alpine, we even crossed the road and found NEW TRAILS I had never ventured out on before. Oh MAN am I excited!! It's a whole new world of exploring, folks!! Can't wait to learn those like the back of my hand, and you bet I will!!
Renata's ears.
Of course, Sydney joined us.
Gayle and her trusty Fjord pony, Misty
Colleen and Sebastian

Thursday, we were going to ride but plans changed and it rained...so Colleen and I decided to drive out to Ft. Lewis and get our passes so we can ride out there this summer. It was awesome being out on the Army Post. It brought me back to the old days of early marriage, diapers and babies. We used to live on Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.

| Ick, look at that rain, I wouldn't want to ride in it. So...we won't. |
Lt. Colonel Simpson had to return the salute to the soldiers at the gate. So the girls were practicing their salutes.
Eek, those salutes need work! Turn those palms down girls, we are Americans! Not British...
Waiting in line to get on base.
We got to see some cool things, Tanks...a really neat OLD flag, and then had some coffee at Starbucks on Post.
How awesome is this??? 18th century flag!! Betsy Ross flag.
The girls playing with my phone, caught me chatting with Lt. Colonel Simpson.
Meet Daneele. We will be riding with her on Post this summer!
Happy Starbucks Green tea, everyone!
On our way back, we stopped at McChord AFB and went commissary shopping. Who says you can't have fun with friends grocery shopping??
Lt. Colonel Simpson, deep in thought and checking prices...
Silly kids...
Hey! Gluten Free, we should get this...
See the wall up top?? Thank you for shopping at McChord Commissary. Ya'll come back now, ya hear??
