Beach Day!

On this journey to Tevis, I have already learned some new things.  While on my journey, life happened, I quit my job--(which was the best thing I have ever done besides marry my husband and have 2 beautiful kids!!)  and started living again.  I have no idea why I ever thought cleaning stalls, washing horses and going to stuffy dressage shows were fun.  Because my life as it is right now doesn't even compare...I will never go back.  NEVER!!

On this AMAZING 86 degree late April day, my friend and I took the girls to the beach all day.  We got to see some fun stuff!!  We saw an otter swimming and eating fish, Heidi and Reagan found 3 starfish today, one was a teeny, tiny one...very darling.  It was so clear, Mt. Raineer was out to admire and you could see the Seattle city from where we were.  So blessed to live in this area!

My view today.  Kids playing in the ocean with our beautiful mountain behind them.

You have to admire the blue nails AND the purple starfish...
Such a cute little guy out entertaining us today!

So good to have friends!

Got to love a sand goatee!

Always fun to play in the sand!

Isn't that the cutest starfish ever???
The last starfish that Reagan found

Pretty cool, I never get tired of seeing them!

I hope your day was as fun as ours enjoying this amazing sunshine!!  Tomorrow I will be out riding with some friends up at Green Mountain.  Todd is taking the day off to take the kids fishing and enjoy the 90 degree weather we will be having.  Lots of pictures!!  Science fair tomorrow too.  Fun and busy day.

  1. Was it 86? That hot? I really enjoyed it. My house was so cool, almost cold, compared to outside. I got home late in the day...violin and errands. It was so nice to go in and out...out to get warm, in to get cool and back and forth.

Your girls (esp Heidi) are so photogenic. I love that picture of all the girls on the dock.

  2. I am glad you at least got to get out and enjoy the day! Our friend Rebecca also had violin today, so her little one was the only one that got to come and visit us at the beach today. It was 86 today! Tomorrow is supposed to be 90!! WOOOHOOO!!!! I hope you get some sun on your face tomorrow, I will be riding through the woods...so nice! Love you. God has blessed you with beautiful munchkins as well. I love my babies!

  3. I'm envious and would have loved to be there with you. We had mid 60's and sunny yesterday so I did a 15+ mile bike ride after getting home from work. I must have the prettiest grand daughters around!
