Our tents at Manchester State Park.
We usually do amazing Dutch oven dinners. We've made smoked Salmon in the ovens, gumbo, white chili with chicken, cinnamon rolls, bread, all kinds of desserts...it's sort of tradition to have fun with the Dutch ovens and plan out all the meals we will make. Because, camping is all about the food, right?? Well...not last night. Didn't even bring them. We didn't hardly pack anything and just roasted good ole' hot dogs. That was really fun for the kids. They love roasting hot dogs and making s'mores.
Of course, camping wouldn't be complete without a glass of wine! We took the kids for a walk, we didn't forget our camping wine glasses...
Cheers! First camping trip with Shirley of the season.
Our campsite was filled with fun logs and trees to climb...
So fun for them!!
Heidi decorated her hair with clovers she found on our walk.
Todd brought his ultimate camping tool...
I LOVE the smell of pipe tobacco!!
I love this man!!
We love our Shirley!!!
Ignore the bottle of 14 hands wine behind the munchkins. They are too young for wine, all though...they were massively hopped up on sugar...not sure how many s'mores they ate! :-) We had a wonderful time!!!
