A lot of people showed up with crazy hair...because that was the theme of the tour...but we didn't participate.
The girls had a great time! We didn't get home until after 11:30ish and so that is why we skipped.
But....because we skipped church, I went ahead and met up with my friend to go riding in Alpine yesterday. That makes 4 times last week for my Nata pony getting worked. Gotta keep her conditioning up.
We had the BEST TIME!!! She spooked a bit, but it wasn't anything like it had been prior, it was very minimal. We cantered down trails, up trails, went through rivers. We did about 8 miles yesterday. Yesterday was the first day I felt safe on my horse. It was the first time I felt us clicking as a team. Not quite there yet...but almost!!! I never thought that would happen.
My good friend Colleen, and her handsome Thoroughbred, Sebastian. I love that Sebastian boy, he is a fantastic trail horse!!
Me and Nata. Her Mohawk is about 1 month from being able to band it over and adding it to the rest of her mane...
I was trying to take a picture backwards over the top of my helmet. A little blurry, but not bad....See my Sydney behind her?? He is a great little trail dog.
Beautiful isn't it?? I love this view, I never get tired of it. So much more fun to enjoy it with a friend. Couldn't stop smiling yesterday!
This is us crossing back over to the 150th side of Alpine. We came in that way and crossed over a different way to the County line entrance and this is us on our way back. So much fun. I am so loving my new life. No regrets. I am enjoying my kids, my horse, my friends, my LIFE!!!
I hope you are enjoying yours too!
